2025 Ford Bronco – Pricing, Performance, Interior, and More!

The 2025 Ford Bronco is built for adventure. Whether you choose two doors or four, a soft top or a hardtop, every Bronco is designed to connect you with the outdoors. You can even remove the doors and roof panels to fully embrace open-air driving. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder that produces 300 horsepower. An optional twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 offers 330 horsepower, and both engines are paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. A seven-speed manual is available with the smaller engine.

All models come with traditional four-wheel drive and independent front suspension for better ride quality. Ford has also added helpful off-road features like electronic locking front and rear differentials, a sway-bar disconnect system, bead lock-capable wheels, and 35-inch mud-terrain tires. The Bronco handles better on pavement than its main rival, the Jeep Wrangler, with more precise steering and better road manners. While its body-on-frame design and off-road suspension do show some roughness, especially with large tires, the Bronco remains versatile and ready for serious trails.

New for 2025 is the Free Wheeling trim, inspired by retro designs of the 1970s. It is based on the Big Bend trim and adds colorful stripes and the available Sasquatch package, which includes raised suspension and high-clearance fender flares. Another special edition is the Stroppe Edition, which features a tri-color livery that nods to the classic Bronco race trucks of the past.

Prices for the 2025 Bronco start at just under forty thousand dollars and can go up to over seventy-seven thousand dollars depending on the model and options. For a good balance of value and features, the four-door Black Diamond trim is highly recommended. It includes off-road essentials like 32-inch tires, bash plates, steel bumpers, and Ford’s G.O.A.T. drive modes, which let you easily adjust the vehicle’s settings to match different terrains.

In performance testing, the quickest Bronco was the Wildtrak with the V6, reaching sixty miles per hour in 6.2 seconds. The four-cylinder version in the Everglades trim did the same run in 7.1 seconds. Both versions can tow up to 3500 pounds, which matches the Jeep Wrangler but is less than some competitors like the Toyota 4Runner.

Fuel economy varies depending on the setup. The most efficient version is the four-cylinder with the automatic, delivering 20 miles per gallon in the city and 22 on the highway. The V6 with larger off-road tires drops to 17 miles per gallon in both areas.

Inside, the Bronco offers a practical and fun environment. It has a dashboard rack for mounting devices and frameless doors that are easier to remove. The four-door version has enough room to store all four doors and offers more cargo space. Durable materials like rubber flooring and marine-grade vinyl are available, while higher trims offer leather seats. However, some of the plastic trim in the upper models can feel a bit basic. Overall, the 2025 Ford Bronco is one of the most capable and enjoyable SUVs for those who love the outdoors.
