Jeep is giving us a first look at the refreshed 2026 Grand Wagoneer, and while it’s technically a mid-cycle update, this is far more than just a light nip and tuck. The brand’s flagship SUV is getting a striking new face, an electrified powertrain, and a clearer identity as it finally embraces the Jeep name upfront.

The most noticeable change? That redesigned front fascia. Jeep has reworked the iconic seven-slot grille with a sleeker, more modern design that now integrates a full-width LED light bar — a styling cue borrowed from the all-electric Wagoneer S. The headlights have also been slimmed down, giving the Grand Wagoneer a more refined and aggressive look, while the reshaped lower bumper adds sharper lines and a more planted stance.

One small but symbolic detail stands out: the word “Grand Wagoneer” has been replaced by the Jeep badge across the front. It’s a subtle but important shift, signaling a return to the brand’s core lineup after being positioned more like a standalone sub-brand when it launched.

While Jeep hasn’t shown the entire 2026 Grand Wagoneer yet, this teaser hints at broader changes to come. Look closely at the front fenders, and you’ll spot a fuel door-like panel that likely hides a charging port — all but confirming a plug-in hybrid variant is on the way.

Under the hood, the powerful twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six is expected to carry over.

While we haven’t seen the updates to the interior, it would be safe to assume that it will get updated screens and more refined trim materials. Jeep is clearly aiming to keep the Grand Wagoneer competitive in the full-size luxury SUV space, where it faces off against heavyweights like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
