BHPian vinya_jag recently shared this with other enthusiasts: It’s been 6 months so far, and it has been plain and dreamy sailing. Office commute has come down dramatically, and so have the mileage figures. I barely manage a little over 20, but my commute is also about 6 Kms one way. So, expect poor mileage when you use it for short distances. On longer rides, it is possibly above 30. I haven’t felt comfortable above speeds of 100. Despite the 6th year, it feels noisy above 100. The wind blast is also not something very enjoyable. Here, possibly the Speed 400 would behave better. City riding is very confidence-inspiring. Good brakes, great slow speed handling, that lets one ride, without needing to place the foot down, at crawling speeds, acceleration, that could simply displace you from point A to B, ignoring physics, lightish clutch and gears. What’s challenging me is the rear mudguard placement. I have had to clean the bike almost every time I took it out in the rain. The muck just sprays all across the rear of the bike, on the silencer, and possibly on your legs too. The brakes start squealing almost instantly after a 10-minute ride in the rain. Apart from this, and a heavy handlebar, the rest is sheer enjoyment. Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
