The 2025 Mazda 3 – More Affordable, More Tech-Savvy!

performance, but it’s also becoming more affordable—something we don’t see often in the automotive world. If you’re in the market for a sleek, well-built sedan or hatchback, Mazda is offering you more for less.

Let’s start with the price cuts. The entry-level Mazda 3 sedan now begins at $25,135, marking a small but welcome $220 reduction compared to last year’s model. If you prefer the five-door hatchback, you’ll appreciate an even bigger discount. The new 2.5 S trim on the hatchback starts at $26,135, which is $740 less than before. These price drops make the 2025 Mazda 3 an even more attractive option for those seeking a budget-friendly compact car without compromising on quality.

But that’s not all. Mazda has also made some high-tech upgrades to keep you connected and on the right path. For 2025, models in the lineup from the Select Sport trim and up will now feature Amazon Alexa built-in. This means you can control both your car’s settings and your smart home devices through simple voice commands. Plus, the new Mazda Online Navigation system will keep your routes accurate with over-the-air updates, so you’ll never miss a turn.

Now, while the starting price for the Preferred trim has increased slightly by $150 to $27,525, and the other models in the lineup are $350 more expensive, you’re still getting some solid value with these enhancements. The top-tier Turbo Premium Plus hatchback, for example, is now priced at $38,135, while the sedan version tops out at $36,985.

Under the hood, you have two powertrain options. The first is a 191-horsepower naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. For driving enthusiasts, there’s good news: the six-speed manual transmission is still available, but only on the five-door hatchback in the Premium trim.

If you want more power, the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine cranks out an impressive 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque. This turbocharged engine only comes with all-wheel drive, giving you more control and grip on the road. However, if you prefer the naturally aspirated version, you can still opt for all-wheel drive on the Carbon Edition.

Mazda plans to roll out the hatchback models this summer, with the sedan versions following in the fall. So, whether you’re looking for a sedan or a hatchback, Mazda’s latest updates make the 2025 Mazda 3 an exciting and cost-effective choice. Keep your eyes peeled for these models at dealerships soon!
