According to data shared by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Honda has stopped the production of the Activa e: and QC1 electric scooters since August 2025. The Activa e: and QC1 e-scooters were launched in the Indian market in February this year. Unlike the ICE version, sales of the electric Activa have been slow. Between February and July 2025, Honda produced 11,168 units, of which 5,201 units were dispatched to dealers, while the remaining units are sitting unsold. Of the 5,201 units sold, 4,461 units were QC1, while 740 were Activa e:. A lack of a portable charger and a higher price tag could be the reasons for the dismal sales of the Activa e: The Activa e: uses a 6 kW electric motor that produces a peak torque of 22 Nm. It is powered by a pair of 1.5 kWh removable batteries, offering a range of 102 km on a single charge. The Honda QC1 is powered by a 1.5 kWh battery pack. Unlike the Activa e:, the QC1 has a fixed battery. It powers an in-wheel electric motor with a peak output of 1.8 kW and 77 Nm. Source: Autocar India
