Reports suggest that the new 440cc model could be a cruiser.
Hero MotoCorp has announced that it plans to launch a new 440cc motorcycle. This will be the third bike based on the Harley-Davidson 440cc platform. It is likely to be launched in Q3 FY2026.
Reports suggest that the new 440cc model could be a cruiser, although this hasn’t been confirmed. That being said, the bike is likely to share its underpinnings with the Harley-Davidson X440.
The bike will most likely be powered by the same 440cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 27 BHP and 38 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.
The confirmation of a new 440cc model comes just days after the Mavrick 440 was discontinued. The bike was on sale for just a year and a half but found few takers.
