Malaysian fuel prices October 9-15, 2025; RON97 down 3 sen to RM3.18/litre, diesel unchanged, RM2.93/litre

The ministry of finance has announced the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of October 9 to 15, 2025, along with the reiteration that the non-subsidised price of RON95 petrol will continue at RM2.60 per litre for the month of October 2025, and Malaysians with a valid driving licence eligible for the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) programme will be able to buy RON95 petrol at RM1.99 per litre, at a monthly quota of 300 litres.

The price of RON97 petrol will decrease by three sen per litre to RM3.18 per litre, down from its RM3.21 per litre price of last week.

Retail prices of diesel fuels in Peninsular Malaysia continue unchanged for the coming week, with the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remaining at RM2.93 per litre while the Euro 5 B7 blend, which is 20 sen more per litre, will carry on at RM3.13 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuels in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan continues unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices take effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, October 15, 2025, when the next set of fuel price updates are announced. This is the 41st edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, and the 352nd in total since the format was introduced at the start of 2019.
