As my better half is arriving on a different flight, an hour later than mine, I took this chance to visit the 080 Arrival Lounge in T2, and it is excellent. Staff at the entry said most credit cards are not accepted for complimentary access, and Priority Pass is only accepted. 2. Not sure for every airline, but for AIX domestic, the walk from the arrival gate to baggage claim is more than 10 mins. I really enjoyed the walk, but it might be a slight inconvenience if travelling with elderly parents. 3. Pickup points on arrival are quite a walk from the terminal, forcing you to take the elevator if you have too many bags. 4. Booked Shoffr for airport pickup from T2. Received the message with the driver details by the time I landed. The driver was waiting at a point 10 minutes away, and he promptly reached the pickup point once called. Overall, a good experience after a red-eye.BHPian thegr recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Looks like electric vehicles have 20% off, but you have to ask. Thankfully I was told at entry when I got the ticket, but had to ask the person at the exit if there was a discount. Daily charge was 600, but I was charged 480. They’ll take a pic of the car plate for record keeping. BHPian xja1 recently shared this with other enthusiasts: I recently noticed while dropping off a friend at the airport, that they have now introduced fastag based entry and exit checkpoints. They aren’t functional yet but this gives me an inkling that at some point we will have to pay an additional fee in order to access the pick up and drop off areas. Based on my experience in other cities, these systems usually measure the entry/exit time and then charge extra if you overstayed your welcome. I guess they are planning this to reduce traffic congestion, but I hope that they don’t actually implement it, otherwise airport journeys would become even more expensive.Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
