BHPian carcrazeking recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Completing a year with PPF. Car has completed 10k km. Usage is mostly within the city and occasional highway rides. The film fared well against all odds, such as stone chips, mild scratches, swirl marks and bird poop. First two images of the car after a year with PPF. There are no swirl marks yet. Once there was a big bird dropping that was left for a few hours. Approximately 4-5 hours. It caused a very nasty stain. The self-healing did the part and after 4-5 washes, and in a month’s time, the stain completely vanished. This image below was taken 2 months after the image above and focused on the same spot. There was a mild straight line scratch in the middle of the bonnet from top to bottom. This was caused by a low-hanging branch. I was careless and drove the car, assuming it wouldn’t be damaged. This too after 3 months completely vanished. Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
