Hyundai is all set to launch the next-generation Venue on November 4. Ahead of the price announcement, the carmaker has revealed some technical details of the new subcompact SUV. As expected, the new Venue will be available with three engine options. These include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 114.7 Nm @ 4,200 rpm. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The second engine option is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol that makes 118 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm @ 1,500-4,000 rpm. It will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The Venue will also be available with a diesel engine. The 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder unit produces 114 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm. Customers can opt for either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Besides the cosmetic makeover, Hyundai has also introduced new features on the new Venue. It gets Level 2 ADAS and disc brakes on all four wheels for the first time. Inside, you get a Creta-style dual-screen layout along with a range of features and creature comforts.
