Real World Fuel Economy
Okay so my car is nearing 5,000 kms and mostly in city and not for very long distances. A few highways and airport runs here and there. I have been refuelling exclusively from JioBP. Anyway, currently my average fuel economy is around 10.5 kmpl. On highways average fuel economy varies drastically with speed.
- 60-80 kmph constant speed – 16-18 kmpl
- 80-100 kmph – 13-14 kmpl
- >100 kmph – 12-13 kmpl
Currently tracking the f.e. by tank-full method, using the Fuelio app. Have a long 600 km trip planned on coming weekend. Will update more.
