BHPian hm1987 recently shared this with other enthusiasts: BE6 Pack Two 79 kWh (Small Updates)Hi All, Finally Got the BE6 Pack Two 79KWH Variant. Below are my few observations so far. I don’t need to go over things which are covered already about Pack 3, so my observations will be more towards the pack 2 1) Suspension looks good to me, We didn’t see any difference compared to the pack 3(test drive vehicle). 2) As we come from a humble Nissan Micra, pack 2’s feature list looks enough for us. 3) Range: Been to Nandi hills and covered around 268km with 50% battery (note that I am still trying to drive EV way) 4) Charging: Dealer gave the car with 75% battery after weekend drive tried to charge at my office, but due to some issue all the chargers at the office were offline (This is the reality it seems, we need to tune our expectations). 5) Incident: During delivery “Rear Left” Tyre pressure was low (around 32) and when checked in the morning it came down to 28PSI so tried the fill the AIR with my old inflator (bought in metro long back) but somehow cigarette port’s fuse went OFF.So next day we reached to India garage service, they were very accommodating and helped us with the fuse. the process went as below,a) The service person bought his own cigarette charger and made sure that indeed port is the problem not our new Tyre inflator. (bought new inflator as we can’t get refilled like before in gas station)b) He opened the FUSE box (which is below the steering wheel) (for comparison in my old car its just readily available without much fuzz)c) The plastic panel has the circuit diagram for all the fuses, since there are so many fuses (have a look at the photo) he got confused and though F46 caters for cigarette port. Since F46 was good his next diagnosis was to open the plastic panel behind the cigarette port and see if something happened there.d) Meanwhile we got a doubt if there is separate fuse for cigarette port (as diagram showed that F46 is for front/back USB’s)e) Here is the interesting part, my Wife uploaded the photo to Gemini app and asked it what is the FUSE for cigarette port, surprise surprise…. Gemini replied back F29 (labeled as accessory) is the port, since uploaded image was blurry one Gemini got confused it seems but it did give us the pointer and we found out that F31 as labeled as ACCESSORY. So we asked service person to check once if F31 is good. He checked it and said that F31 went bad and replaced the fuse and port started working. Seems like AI is useful. But throughout the process service personal are very helpful and accommodating, was p[pleasantly surprised and felt good.6) Learnings:a) Use accessories which you know are good (seems like something went bad in my old Tyre inflator, it did blew my old cars fuse as well) b) Service personal also new to the car, they are helpful we just need to make sure we give them enough time/help if need be.7) While at service we asked them to charge our car and they charged the car from 26% to 92% in 1 hour (60kwh charger). This translates to around 300km range with 1 hour charge. Thanks Check outBHPian commentsfor more insights and information.
