This Mercedes-Benz location in Bangsar needs no introduction, but perhaps the new concept does. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) and NZ Wheels officially opened the doors of Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar today. It’s the first Stars@Mercedes-Benz in ASEAN and only the third one globally, after Ginza in Tokyo and Zurich in Switzerland. Ours is the largest of the three.
Designed as a pioneering urban concept, Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar by NZ Wheels showcases the most exclusive models from Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach and the G-Class, “uniting the brand’s pinnacle of luxury under one roof”. Basically, only the company’s Top-End Vehicle (TEV) lineup – the ‘Stars’ of the brand – will be highlighted in this Top-End Showroom, MBM explains.
Here, customers get to discover the ‘Stars’ of the brands in an “exceptionally refined and brand-immersive environment”. Central to the concept is an emphasis on exclusivity and personalisation performed by dedicated sales experts who have been specially trained for each luxury brand. The aim is to deliver a “truly bespoke experience in a sophisticated future retail environment”.
“As a leader in the automotive industry, Mercedes-Benz is consistently enhancing the experience for our customers. Together with our trusted partner NZ Wheels, Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar complemented by the latest Mercedes-Benz retail brand presence is unprecedented as it embodies our vision to transform retail spaces into immersive lifestyle destinations,” said Amanda Zhang, CEO and president of MBM.
“By integrating state-of-the-art digital technology with thoughtfully-designed environments that inspire comfort and exclusivity, we provide our customers with an elevated and holistic Mercedes-Benz journey – one that reflects the luxury and innovation our brand stands for. This showroom doesn’t just showcase vehicles; it celebrates the refined lifestyles of those who drive them, setting a new standard in luxury retailing in Malaysia,” she added.
This 1,800 sqm facility in Bangsar is purpose-built to serve KL’s high-net-worth communities and surrounding neighbourhoods, MBM says. With an investment of RM5 million by NZ Wheels, the two-floor building has ‘immersive dedicated zones’ for Mercedes‑Maybach, Mercedes-AMG, the G-Class and the flagship Mercedes-Benz range.
The showroom can be transformed into one distinct brand world within just 30 minutes thanks to modular wall systems, and Zhang says that we can expect to see collaborations with other luxury brands at this space in the future.
Unique to Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar is the ‘Manufaktur’ area, where customers interested in bespoke vehicle customisations can explore a wide range of samples and options. Large digital screens present audiovisual content and a café-style lounge provides a relaxed atmosphere. MBM says that this “revolutionary showroom sets a new benchmark in blending physical and digital automotive retail experiences”.
“This new showroom is a pride and joy that underlines the commitment of NZ Wheels and MBM to bringing a new level of luxury retail experience to customers in Bangsar and beyond. As we move forward, this showroom will be a benchmark for personalised service and exclusive automotive experiences, reflecting both our dedication to excellence and understanding the evolving needs of today’s luxury consumers,” said Datuk Jasmy bin Ismail, chairman of the Naza Automotive Group.
Finally, there’s a 50 kW DC fast charger here, and a 2S service centre in Jalan Genting Klang/Setapak is scheduled to open in Q2 2026 to complement this retail-showcase Bangsar space.
