Tariff Surcharge Removal, Tariff Based MAP Pricing Changes Now In Effect
Our goal is to be transparent with you regarding the impact that government-imposed tariffs have had on our cost structure. While we had originally hoped that tariff rates would be reduced from those in effect on June 2, 2025, when we implemented a tariff surcharge to our products, it appears that the current rates are not temporary and will remain in effect for the foreseeable future. We have therefore decided to change MAP pricing to reflect these new permanent costs while simultaneously removing this supplemental tariff surcharge from our website pricing/checkout process.
We will continue to monitor this issue and pledge to keep you up to date on any further changes that might be required because of government mandated changes to tariff rates.

Tariff Surcharge Effective June 2, 2025
Our 25+ years of service to hundreds of thousands of happy enthusiasts and their vehicles is something that everyone at COBB is proud of and takes very seriously. We appreciate your support and the trust that you have placed with us to deliver unmatched tuning solutions and modifications for you and your vehicle. We don’t take this trust for granted and are committed to continuing our relationship with you by delivering the industry’s best products, service, and transparency concerning our products and pricing. The purpose of this post is to make you aware of the addition of a Tariff Surcharge to our products due to the impact of higher government mandated import tariffs on key components and material that we use in our products.
Due to these newly mandated tariffs and the direct impact that these changes are having on our cost structure, effective June 2, 2025, COBB Tuning will begin to add a Tariff Surcharge to our product pricing to help offset some of the additional cost that these tariffs have added to our products.
Because we believe in transparency, we want you to know that we are holding the base price for our products the same. We are adding a Tariff Surcharge as a separate line/price item to help offset some of the added costs associated with these tariffs. We DID NOT want to simply increase our base product pricing because this type of pricing change would mask the impact of this mandate change (which may or may not change over time) to our cost structure. Instead, we believe that the introduction of a Tariff Surcharge is the most fair and transparent way for us to address the impact that these incremental tariffs have had on our cost structure. The Tariff Surcharge will be a dynamic element of our pricing matrix; it will move down (already has since our original calculations) or up (we hope not) as these mandated tariffs change and/or as we take steps to mitigate the impact of this added cost on our business.
Pricing on our official website (www.cobbtuning.com ) will continue to display our current prices, and we will show a separate Tariff Surcharge percentage (%) and dollar value ($) that reflects the Tariff Surcharge associated with each product. Our goal is to be fully transparent with you by clearly showing that we have maintained our existing prices and are only increasing your final purchase price by an amount required to partially cover the cost impact of these newly mandated import tariffs (the Tariff Surcharge).
