However, this thread is not about your favourite toy. Over the years, many unique toys have been sold in the market. Unique in a way that we never thought something like this could exist at that time. Of course, we have all grown up in different eras, so every era will have something fun and very unique. It would be interesting to know about the unique toys you have owned and played with in your childhood. It could be anything at all. It could also hold sentimental value if you received it as a gift. Let me begin by sharing mine. I have two to add to the list. The first is the Tomy Turbo Dashboard. Growing up in the 80s, this became one of the coolest toys around. It comprised the front end of a Porsche 911 and a full dashboard facing you. There was a steering wheel, gear lever, instrument cluster and a screen where you could see the car that you are driving. Another fun thing was that you had to turn a key to switch it on. As a 5-year-old kid, this was so exciting. My father had gifted this to me, and it remained a favourite for a long time. Source Source The second was the Majorette Majokit. These are playkits made by diecast car maker Majorette. Majokit was something you could build cities with and play with using your 1:64 scale diecast cars. The level of detail was amazing for its time. You could build fuel stations, parking lots, restaurants, anything associated with big city life. Even after all these years, it could still make for an exciting display. My first kit was a small one gifted by one of Dad’s friends. I later pestered my Dad to buy me bigger sets. I ended up making a big city right in my room.
