BHPian manson recently shared this with other enthusiasts:Audi Q5 Is A Fun-To-Drive CarSingle biggest reason we brought home a Q5 Technology in September this year over other loaded and tech laden options! Infact we didn’t take too well to any of the screen filled new generation interiors at all. Coming from relatively older cars we prefer the the last gen cars with a single inbuilt or floating screen instead. I had no idea the Q5 actually drove the way it does even when I recommended it to my brother a year or two ago. And then out of nowhere he swings by the Audi showroom to test drive the Q5 a day away from freezing on a barge he always admired and is smitten by the Q5. All plans go for a toss and the barge goes on a hold. I test drove the Q5 a few hours later and gave it the beans around the block. The Q5 in the 45 TFSI tune moves, grips and sounds like no other SUV this side of a Crore! To put it in perspective think of the Q5 as THE RAGER whose forever pretending to be shy. Save for the 360 degree camera, adaptive suspension, better music system, and small addons, the Q5 Premium Plus trim itself has all the essentials including the much sought after digital cockpit! The Q5 isn’t plush like the GLC or the 5 Series but clearly hits the ball out of the park from a utility with fun to drive factor point of view. That said I’m still yearning for aftermarket options on seat base extension for my 2021 A4 and would have normally expected it to come in the Q5 (especially considering it was the Technology trim) but it surprisingly did not even though the cheaper Kodiaq gets them!
